TLC Angels was formed in 2010 in honor of our dear friend Tammy Laird Carroll (thus TLC). In her early twenties, Tammy was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease. Despite her illness, she had an amazing spirit that inspired us to get involved in the fight against Huntington's Disease. TLC Angels was formed by a small group of former classmates of Tammy's, who rallied around her during her fight, visiting her regularly, taking her on outings, and hosting an Aloha Themed party for her. Unfortunately, our time reconnected with Tammy was far too short. Our beautiful friend lost her fight with Huntington's disease on October 13th. Although our name is TLC Angels...she is definitely OUR angel. For more information about this devastating disease, please click on one of the links to the left. Tammy's son, Trae hosted the first Tammy Laird Carroll Memorial Walk for Huntington's Disease on May 19, 2012 at McCormick's Creek. The event was a huge success.
